HELMETS ARE MANDATORY for the participants. Helmet can be either an open-face or a full-face helmet meeting Snell M2010, SA2010, SA2015 or 31.1/2010, 31.1/2015, 41.1/2010, or 41.1/2015 certification.
NO PASSENGERS ALLOWED in car during race.
NO GO-PRO STYLE CAMERAS ON EXTERIOR
(Mounted on the outside) of the car.
NO CREW MEMBERS ALLOWED ON THE TRACK or STARTING LINE for STREET CLASS CARS.
IF YOU FAIL TECH INSPECTION, you will not be refunded! However, a Spectator ticket will be issued which will allow you to watch the race at no extra cost. You will need to park at Gate E-6 and get your wristband there from the Ticket Booth.
NO ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES OR GLASS CONTAINERS PERMITTED AT ANY TIME IN THE PITS OR ON TRACK!
ZERO TOLLERANCE POLICY. IF WE CATCH THIS YOU WILL BE ESCORTED OUT BY THE POLICE.
ALL DRIVERS MUST HAVE AN RACECAR/RACER ENTRY TICKET, so that we can issue you a Tech Card and Car Number.
IT IS OKAY FOR A DRIVER TO DRIVE A DIFFERENT CAR PROVIDED THAT THE CAR AND DRIVER HAVE BOTH BEEN THROUGH TECH AND ALL ADDITIONAL SAFETY REQUIREMENTS HAVE BEEN MET.
IT IS NOT OKAY TO HAVE MULTIPLE DRIVERS WITH ONLY ONE TECH CARD. ALL DRIVERS MUST HAVE A TECH CARD ON FILE FOR THE DAYS TEST EVENT.
Driver's caught switching wristbands , or driving a vehicle without a tech card for that vehicle on file will be suspended.
ALL CREW MEMBERS ARE REQUIRED TO SIGN A WAIVER AND OBTAIN A CREW MEMBER WRISTBAND TO GAIN ACCESS TO THE STARTING LINE.
SPECTATORS AND CREW WITHOUT A WRISTBAND WILL NOT BE ALLOWED BEYOND THE TEMPORARY FENCE A THE TOP OF THE STAGING LANES. NO EXCEPTIONS.
NO CREW MEMBERS ARE ALLOWED ON THE TRACK FOR "TRUE STREET" & "STREET LEGAL" CLASSES.
Certain Sportsman and Pro Classes are allowed no more than 2 crew members per vehicle on the track at a time.
If you are not with a race car , you must obtain permission to enter on to the track.
Media and Photographers must have permission from the Track Manager ONLY and sign a waiver, provide a business card and wear a bright colored safety vest.
NO AERIAL DRONES are allowed to fly to shoot photos or video, unless authorized by the Race Event Manager.
At no time will anyone be allowed in front of the K-Rail.
No one is permitted to stand, spectate, or be in any vehicle that is not racing off to the sides of the track, finish line, shutdown or return road.
"TRUE" STREET CLASS
Approved vehicles must be registered, insured, street-legal vehicles with mufflers and DOT approved street tires (slicks prohibited) tires and run 9 seconds and slower in the 1/8th mile. True Street is for drivers of full-bodied cars, trucks, vans, or SUVs. Prohibited vehicles include open-top SUVs or open-top SUV-type vehicles. Convertible tops are allowed but must be closed at all times. Motorcycles and race cars are prohibited. Car may not be equipped with drive wheel tubs, or be back-halved. All vehicles must be street-legal and driven in the gate. No Trailers cars! Vehicles must also have the correct state issued license plate (dealer tags, paper tags, temporary tags, etc. prohibited), a valid state vehicle registration, a valid state inspection (if required), and proof of current insurance. Vehicles must be able to pass all state highway safety requirements for the state in which the vehicle is registered.
DRIVER RESTRAINT SYSTEM
Use of seat belts is mandatory for both the participant and licensed supervising adult.

No shorts, bare legs, tank tops, or bare torsos permitted while racing (applies to both participant and licensed supervising adult).
"STREET LEGAL" CLASS
Vehicle: Must be street legal car, truck, or motorcycle.
Tires: Street legal, D.O.T. approved treaded tires, front and rear. Tires will be inspected for overall condition. (Bare cords not permitted). Racing slicks permitted.
WHEELS: All wheel studs, with full compliment of lug nuts required. (Broken studs/missing lugs must be replaced before racing.) Hub caps must be removed for lug inspection.
DRIVESHAFT LOOP: Driveshaft loop required on all vehicles running 13.99 (8.94 = 1/8 mile) with a "slick" or quicker, except vehicles running 11.49 (7.30 = 1/8 mile) seconds or slower equipped with "street tires".
MUFFLERS: All "STREET LEGAL" vehicles are required to have a muffler.
LINES & HOSES: All fuel, transmission, brake and power steering lines must be secure and free of leaks. A maximum of 12 inches total (front to rear) of non-metallic or non-steel braided hoses is permitted for connection purposes only. Oil pressure gauge and line permitted in driver compartment, metal or steel braided line mandatory.
RADIATOR: All cars in competition with any type of water overflow capable of spilling water must have a catch can to accumulate the excess liquids and prevent leaking onto the track. Minimum catch can capacity one pint. Catch can must be securely fastened.
MASTER CUT OFF SWITCH: Mandatory on any car with a battery running 9.99 (6.32 = 1/8 mile) or quicker, or any car exceeding 135 mph (109 mph = 1/8 mile) or on any car where the battery is relocated into the trunk area.
DRIVER: Must have valid driver’s license. Drivers under the age of 18, must have a minor release waiver signed by their parent or guardian.
PROTECTIVE CLOTHING: Shorts, bare legs, tank tops or bare torsos are prohibited when driving in competition. All drivers are required to wear full-length pants, shoes and socks. Nylon or nylon-type clothing and open-toe are prohibited. 10.00 to 13.99 (6.33 to 8.94 = 1/8 mile) – All E.T. non-OEM supercharged, non-OEM turbocharged, or nitrous-equipped cars with OEM or .024 inch steel firewall Jacket Meeting SFI Spec. 3.2A/1 Mandatory.

SEATS: Must be securely fastened to floor or frame with minimum 4 attaching bolts and nuts. (No sheet metal screws.)
SEAT BELTS: : All vehicles must have a Minimum, an OEM type lap belt system, securely mounted to frame or floor per OEM.*
BATTERIES: Batteries must be secured per OEM, or with minimum of 2, 3/8 inch diameter bolts. (No bungee straps, cords, etc.) Loose ballast is not permitted on the race track, so be prepared to empty trunks and interiors of all loose items. Spare tires, jacks etc. must be securely mounted or must be removed. Tools, jack stands, coolers, loose speakers, etc. will not be permitted to go down the race track. If you don’t need it, or don’t want to leave it unattended, leave it at home.
NEUTRAL SAFTEY SWITCH: ALL vehicles with automatic transmissions must be equipped with an operational Neutral Safety Switch. The Neutral Safety Switch prevents the vehicle’s starter from turning the engine over unless the transmission is in Park or Neutral. On manual transmission vehicle that is equipped with an OEM clutch switch, starter can only be active when clutch pedal is depressed.
Nitrous Oxide: Bottles must be stamped as meeting DOT 1800 pound standards, and must be securely bolted to frame or floor (no bungee straps, hose clamps, etc.) All fittings, hoses, etc. must be compatible, from same manufacturer, properly vented to outside of driver compartment.
Roll Bars/Cages: Roll bar mandatory in all cars (including T-tops) running 11.00 to 11.49, (6.98 to 7.03 = 1/8 mile) in convertibles running 11.00 to 13.49 (6.98 to 8.61 = 1/8 mile). Roll bar/cage structures must meet minimum NHRA standards as found in NHRA Rulebook*.
Late Model Rule: 2008 OEM model-year and newer production cars running slower than 9.99 (*6.39) and 135 mph do not have to meet the requirements and specifications for the "STREET LEGAL CLASS" except for the following: Convertibles and T-tops must meet Summit Racing Series roll-bar and roll-cage requirements. Vehicle must pass all highway safety requirements in the state in which the vehicle is registered. Unaltered OEM installed anti-lock brakes, airbag functions, as well as all other OEM safety related systems must be functioning as per manufacturer’s specifications. Note: Tires used may be other than OEM, but they must be DOT-approved,
Motorcycles: Must be registered for street use; front and rear brakes, chain guards, snap- back throttle-mandatory. Motorcycles 10.99 (6.91 = 1/8 mile) seconds or faster must be equipped with a positive ignition cut-off ignition switch attached to the rider with a lanyard. OEM cut-off permitted. Any pressurized container (air shifter bottles, nitrous bottles) must be stamped as meeting DOT 1800 pound standards. Leather jackets, gloves and Leather (above the ankle) shoes mandatory. Full face helmet labelled as meeting SNELL 2000 or better, mandatory (label is inside helmet). Full all Leathers or SFI Spev.40.1/2 suit mandatory on motorcycles running 120 mph (98.5 mph = 1/8 mile) or faster. Two-piece suits must be joined together with a zipper at the waist.

AFTER MARKET POWER ADDER (Turbo, Nitrous, supercharger, etc) REQUIRES MULTI LAYER JACKET MEETING SFI SPEC 3.2A/5 MANDATORY.
